Border CrosSing

Border CrosSing is an award-winning, Minnesota-based, choral arts nonprofit. Our mission is to cross borders through choral music. Founded in 2017 by Artistic Director Ahmed Anzaldúa, we envision a fundamental change in classical music culture, so that every concert, every audience, and the artists on stage truly reflect the cultural reality in which we live. Our work provides opportunities for people from different communities to understand each other in new ways through our multilingual Puentes concert series; ¡Dale!, our educational outreach partnerships with local students and educators; Heritage Choir, our inclusive, bilingual community chorus; bilingual community singing events; and our sheet music available through Graphite Publications. Our two studio albums, "Un milagro de fe" and "Aquí te amo" celebrate underrecognized composers from across the Americas. We are honored to be recipients of the 2025 Alice Parker Fund Award from Chorus America and the 2020 Chorus America/ASCAP Award for Adventurous Programming.
