Brittney Stanton

Brittney Stanton is a conductor, music educator, and arts advocate who believes in the power of music and creativity to transform lives. With over 14 years of experience in arts education and nonprofit leadership, she has designed and led programs that integrate choral training, instrumental and vocal instruction, music theory, and creative expression with academic enrichment and youth development. Currently serving as Director of Education and Outreach at Elevate Vocal Arts, Brittney designs comprehensive education initiatives, directs the Summer Institute, and oversees EVA’S School-based Residency program while contributing artistically as a member of the professional ensemble Elevation. Her work also included directing operations for out-of-school-time programs, summer camps emphasizing accessibility for underserved populations, and community events that uplifted underrepresented voices. 

An accomplished thought leader in arts education, Brittney has presented workshops and training sessions locally, regionally, and nationally, including the Beyond School Hours Conference and 21st Century Community Learning Centers National Technical Assistance Center, guiding educators and leaders in making the arts accessible, meaningful, and culturally relevant. Her work weaves together music, social-emotional learning, and equity-driven practices. She holds a Master of Science in Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Magna Cum Laude) from McDaniel College. Whether on stage, in the classroom, or behind the scenes, Brittney creates spaces where creativity thrives, belonging is cultivated, resilience is nurtured, and every voice can be heard
