Ensemble Work I've spent the better part of my career driving business development and growth within the financial services space. First at Morgan Stanley as a Financial Advisor, Sales Manager, and eventually Assistant Complex Manager helping to run one of Morgan Stanley’s flagship Complexes in San Francisco with over 150 financial advisors. Then at Sterne Agee (now Stifel), where I was privileged to lead an outstanding group of financial advisors and client associates as Western Regional Director and at BNY's Pershing Advisor Solutions where, as a Senior Business Development Officer, I mentored professionally managed, growth-oriented Financial Advisor Teams as they evaluated the opportunity of becoming an independent registered investment advisor (RIA). On the RIA side, I served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of a Miami-based RIA reshaping a lifestyle practice and positioning it for scale.
As a founding partner, Co-CEO and President of Cantata Wealth, I couldn’t be more excited to help instill the values of dignity, community, collaboration, and doing both well and good in all that we do.
I also currently serve as an Independent Director on the boards of Acasta Partners and Westbourne River Partners, both hedge fund and private equity managers based in London and New York. I hold a BA and MA in Music (Conducting) from the University of California, Davis as well as the Certified Wealth Strategist® (CWS®) designation.
Solo Work Giving back to the community has always been important to me and I've served and led a number of non-profit and community efforts over the years. I currently serve on the Board of IlluminArts, a Miami-based non-profit that collaborates with museums and galleries to present curated programs of music and Chorus America.
I'm also a sometime-professional musician as a conductor and singer. Over the years, I've had the privilege to conduct or perform with a number orchestras, wind ensembles, and choruses including serving as Assistant Conductor of the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, a baritone in the San Francisco Opera Chorus and a countertenor in the Choir of Men and Boys at Grace Cathedral. I currently serve as a volunteer music director for St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Coconut Grove and the founding director of the Coconut Grove Music Series.
