Veronica Bedon Garcia

Originally from Quito-Ecuador, Veronica Bedon Garcia has called Minneapolis home for the past 25 years, where she has devoted herself to raising her two daughters with her husband while building strong community connections. She studied Hospitality Management in college, reflecting her lifelong love of food and cooking. She has a small catering business with her husband.

A passionate supporter of the arts, she volunteers with many nonprofit organizations and has sung in choirs throughout her life. Currently sings with the Border Crossing Heritage Choir, where she especially appreciates the joyful and inclusive community fostered by its wonderful director Natalia Romero. Through her volunteer work and love of the arts, she continues to enrich the cultural life of her family and community.
